Ncuti Gatwa
Ncuti Gatwa (born October 15, 1992 in Kigali , Rwanda ) is a Scottish - Rwandan actor .
Life
Gatwa was born in Rwanda in 1992 . He grew up in Edinburgh and later Dunfermline , among others . There he attended Dunfermline High School and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Bachelor's degree in 2013 . He made his first appearance in 2014 in the series Bob Servant . He became famous in 2019 for his lead role as Eric Effiong in the Netflix series Sex Education . There he was nominated for the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 in the category English best kiss 'best kiss' with Connor Swindells .
