Ndey Njie

Ndey Njie is a Gambian politician.

Life

Njie attended Armitage High School in Janjanbureh .

In the parliamentary elections in Gambia in 2002 , she ran for the ruling APRC party . After she was able to prevail in the party as a candidate against the mandate holder Fafa Touray , she received in the elections in the constituency of Lower Saloum with about 67% of the votes, significantly more approval than her competitor Biran Ceesay ( NRP ).

At the beginning of June 2006 she was sent by the National Assembly as a member of the Parliament of the West African Economic Community (ECOWAS).

Around 2011 she worked in the public service in Brikama as a second class magistrate.
