Near video on demand

As a near-video-on-demand ( NVoD or near-VOD ) is defined as the time-shifted broadcast of a movie on one or more programs. The point in time cannot be chosen arbitrarily, but only at fixed intervals; you can z. B. dial into the stream of a popular film every full quarter hour, which then starts anew. NVOD is an access service in interactive television .
