The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) secondary accent symbol ( ˌ ) indicates that the following syllable has secondary accent (secondary accent).

Its IPA number is 502, the Unicode Standard Number ( UCS ) is U + 02CC.

confusion

The character must not be confused with the comma (,). It must not be confused with U + 0329 either.
