The Neckargartacher automobile was the first automobile that was built in the Heilbronn area.

The vehicle was built in Neckargartach between 1893 and 1900 on the basis of technical descriptions and models , had the exterior of a hunting vehicle and could reach 40 km / h with around 8 hp. For the first time, the automobile had a 2-cylinder engine that had been cast into a single block. The master blacksmith Göhring (sitting on the top left of the car in the photo) and the mechanic Franz Steinrück (standing on the right) from Neckargartach were involved in the construction of the automobile.
