Neena Gill
Neena Gill , CBE (* 24. December 1956 in Ludhiana , India ) is a British politician of the Labor Party .
Life
Gill studied economics at Liverpool John Moores University and the London Business School . After her studies, she worked as a manager for the companies ASRA Group and Newlon Housing Group . From 1999 to 2009, Gill was a member of the European Parliament . Gill has been a member of the European Parliament again since 2014. There she is a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and a member of the delegation for relations with the United States. She is also Vice-Chair of the Delegation for Relations with India. Gill belongs to the Sikh religious community .
In 2017 she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire .
