The Nehalem Bay is a bay formed by the confluence of the Nehalem River in the Pacific Ocean in the northwest of the US state Oregon . Nehalem Bay (250 inhabitants) is located on the bay and is located on coastal Highway 101 between Garibaldi in the south and Cannon Beach in the north.
It is characterized by a number of souvenir shops that are frequented by visitors to the nearby nature park. The bay is bordered by Nehalem Bay State Park , which is home to elk , coyotes and a number of bird species.
Nehalem Bay has a popular sandy beach.
