Nehi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nehi was an ancient Egyptian vizier who probably served under Pharaoh Ramses II . Its existence is not certain because there is another vizier from the 20th dynasty named Nehi and all the monuments could have belonged to him.

Nehi is known only from two statues found in Armant and Deir el-Medine . The location of the statues suggests that he was a vizier with Upper Egyptian authority . The few monuments indicate a rather short term of office, which so far cannot be narrowed down any further.
