Neil Smith (writer)
Neil Smith (* 1964 ) is a Canadian writer and translator.
His first collection of short stories Bang Crunch was published in German in 2009. The book received the McAslan First Book Prize at the Quebec Writers' Federation Literary Awards in 2007 , and a translation into French by Lori Saint-Martin and Paul Gagné won the 2008 Translator's Prize the Quebec Writers Foundation (QWF). In 2015 his novel Boo was published .
Smith lives in Montreal , Province of Québec , with partner Christian Dorais.
