Nejzbach Vysoké Mýto is a Czech futsal club from Vysoké Mýto . He became the Czech champion in 2003.
Club history
The club was founded in 1982 by construction workers from Vysoké Mýto, who played five-a-side football not far from Blahovský potok , commonly known as Nejzbach . This version of football was later followed by indoor football , and futsal since the 1990s . The yellow-blacks with the billy goat in the club crest rose to the 1st Czech futsal league in 1995 and belonged to the top there from then on. In the 1995/96 season they reached the national cup final, but lost to CC Jistebník 3: 5. Three times, namely in 1999, 2000 and 2002, the team only failed in the final of the championship play-offs.
In the 2002/03 season, the team achieved the greatest success in the club's history by winning the Czech championship. Participation in the 2003/04 UEFA Futsal Cup was not very successful , with Nejzbach already failing in the first group stage. The Czechs won the first game of Group 5 in Skopje against the champions from Andorra , UE Santa Coloma, 6-2, but the game was rated 3-0 for Santa Coloma because Nejzbach had used a player who was not eligible to play. Then Vysoké Mýto lost to hosts KMF Skopje with 1: 3 and the Kiev club InterKrAZ with 0: 3.
In the seasons 2003/04 and 2004/05 Nejzbach reached the play-off semi-finals, 2005/06 was already in the quarter-finals. In the 2006/07 season the league was again among the top four.
