Nemajūnai (Birštonas)
Nemajūnai is a village in the municipality of Birštonas , on the right bank of the Nemunas , on the first large Memel loop behind Alytus . It is the center of the sub-district (Seniūnaitija). Nemajūnai is located in the urban reserve. There is the wooden Catholic neo-Gothic church Nemajūnai (built 1877), the stone Nemajūnai, the hill fort Nemajūnai , a cemetery, library, medicine point. The place is mentioned in a document in the 14th century. There was the Nemajūnai Manor . In 1910 the water measuring point was built. The village was previously called Nemaniūnai.
