Nemr Abou Nassar (born September 26, 1983 in Beirut , Lebanon ) is an American- Lebanese comedian .
Life
Nemr Abou Nassar's family fled to the United States in 1985 before the Lebanese Civil War . He became a citizen of the United States in 1993 and returned to Lebanon, where he has lived since then. He studied finance and philosophy at the American University of Beirut . Already during his studies he appeared occasionally as a comedian and since 2006 he has been doing this full-time, making him one of the first Arab comedians in the Middle East . He toured several clubs and countries and took part in a number of tours, including the 2007 sold-out Axis of Evil comedy tour in Lebanon. In addition to radio and television appearances, he has been touring the world alone with his own programs since 2008.
