NeoMagics chips were the fastest and most economical graphics chips for notebooks from 1996 to the beginning of 2000. However, they had the disadvantage that they did not have any 3D functions, so that with the increasing popularity of 3D accelerators in the notebook sector, it was decided to abandon them Withdrawing from the market and focusing on SoCs instead.

In total, NeoMagic has sold more than 22 million graphics chips.
