Neon man
Neonman are an indie electro duo from London and Berlin that consists of Bastian Asdonk and Benjamin John Osborn. The band split up after their second album in 2008. Singer Benjamin Osborn is internationally active as a house DJ under John Osborn.
history
The band was formed after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Her first records "Bundesnachrichtendienst" and "Future is Pussy" were released on the Northern Lite label 1st Decade , another "Supermodel Terrorist" on Lasergun Records, which is operated by DJ Savas Pascalidis . The two albums "Gift of the Gab" and "Knights of Error" were released by the Berlin label Pale Music .

On the first Neonman maxis, an electro sound dominates with dark lyrics that deal with terrorism, drugs and the microcosm of the music scene. On the two albums, especially on "Knights of Error", the band sounds much more musical and is influenced by British punk music from the late seventies.
