Neopalpa neonata is a butterfly from the family of gelechiidae (Gelechiidae). Besides the closely related species Neopalpa donaldtrumpi , it is the only known species in the genus Neopalpa .

The distribution area of Neopalpa neonata includes the extreme northwest and the Baja California peninsula in Mexico and the states of California and Arizona in the USA .
