The N 4020 (also known under the name "Megatrans") is a N40 series bus from the German manufacturer Neoplan .
history
The N 4020, built from 1990 onwards, was the first low-floor three-axle vehicle from Neoplan. He gradually came to the cities of the federal states a. a. Recklinghausen , Duisburg etc.
Furnishing
With its stepless entry at all three doors, the bus was a low-floor bus , and an additional wheelchair ramp on the second door made the N 4020 handicapped-friendly. It also offered space for a stroller or wheelchair and around 150 people. The engine could be installed both horizontally and vertically. In 1998 the Neoplan N 4420 became its successor.
The N 4020 was sold in two or three-door versions. Customers could also choose between different door and seat variations. Optionally, all seats were installed on pedestals.
