Neptune Island

Neptune Island is an island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is remote from the other islands in the group in the Buhta Russkogo Soldata , a side bay of Prydz Bay .

Australian scientists named them because of their remoteness after Neptune , the outermost planet of the solar system.
