Lateral thoracic nerve

The lateral thoracic nerve ( lat. Lateral thoracic nerve ) is a paired motor nerve of the brachial plexus in quadrupedal mammals. Its nuclei of origin lie in the last neck (C8) and first thoracic segment (Th1) of the spinal cord . The nerve passes medially over the teres major and pulls at the bottom of the latissimus dorsi muscle to muscle cutaneous trunci he innervated. The nerve is the efferent limb for the pannicular reflex .
