Nery Mantey Niangkouara

Nery Mantey Niangkouara ( Greek Νέρι Νιαγκουάρα , born March 14, 1983 ) is a Greek swimmer .

Niangkouara began her swimming career with the Athens club Nireas Chalandriou , and she was also active for the clubs Glyfada and Panathinaikos Athens until her resignation in November 2007 . At the time of her retirement, Niangkouara held the Greek national records for 50 m freestyle (25.27 seconds), 100 m freestyle (54.48 seconds) and 50 m butterfly (27.41 seconds).

In 2004 Niaguara took part in the Summer Olympics in Athens and reached the finals there twice. In the 100 m freestyle competition she came in sixth and over 50 m freestyle she finished seventh.

Her greatest successes include the bronze medal in the 100 m freestyle at the European Swimming Championships in Madrid in 2004 and in Budapest in 2006 .

At the European Swimming Championships in 2012 , she reached 5th place in the 100 m freestyle.
