Netrada Holding GmbH (formerly: D + S europe GmbH ) based in Garbsen was an e-commerce fulfillment service provider. Netrada Holding and its subsidiary Netrada Europe filed for bankruptcy in October 2013. In January 2014, the Bertelsmann subsidiary Arvato took over major parts of the company.

history

The core of Netrada is Heycom , which was founded in 1997 by Sven Heyrowsky with two partners. In 2007, founder Sven Heyrowsky sold the company to the D + S group, which in turn was taken over by the financial investor Apax in 2008 . In September 2009, all the individual services of the D + S Group's e-commerce segment were combined under Netrada Europe . In March 2011, Netrada expanded and expanded its North American business; Netrada took over a majority stake in the US e-commerce service provider Fulfillment Technologies ( Filltek ).

At the same time, D + S parted with a number of activities: In 2011, D + S sold the communication center company in Parchim, which had previously belonged to the D + S Communications Centers division, to Perry & Knorr, as well as the IT service company D + S Solutions sold to Atos Origin. Furthermore, at the end of 2011, the majority stake in Netrada Digital Marketing was sold to the management as part of an MBO. In January 2012 the remaining call center activities of D + S with call centers at 9 locations in Germany and a total of approx. 3,000 employees were sold to the German financial investor CMP. D + S Europe, the parent company of the remaining D + S Group, then renamed Netrada Holding . In September 2013, Netrada sold its activities in North America and China.

Deutsche Telefon- und Marketing Services (DTMS) based in Mainz, which operated as an independent subsidiary in the Netrada Group, was sold to the financial investor Paragon Partners in February 2014 . DTMS operates in the market for value-added telephony.

Netrada offers international full-service e-commerce solutions in the areas of fashion and lifestyle . With around 3,000 employees and logistics centers in Europe and North America, the company operates over 80 country online shops for brands from the above-mentioned areas. The range of services covers the entire process chain , from implementation and operation of the online shop to content management , product photography, online marketing , logistics and shipping with returns management as well as payment and accounting and customer services .

The Netrada Group achieved strong growth in 2011 and 2012; the group's turnover in 2011 was 245 million euros.
