The Paragon Partners GmbH (proper spelling PARAGON PARTNERS ) is a German holding company with headquarters in Munich . Founded in 2004, the private, owner - managed private equity company manages various funds that invest in medium-sized German companies. Paragon's investors include institutional investors such as life insurance companies, pension funds and university foundations, but also private investors.

In 2004, Edin Hadzic and Krischan from Moeller founded Paragon Partners. The first two investments were made before the first institutional fund (Paragon Secondary Partners) was launched in 2005. The second fund followed in 2008 (Paragon Fund I). In 2014, the third fund (Paragon Fund II) was raised, so that at the time Paragon Partners managed a total of around € 634 million in capital.
