Network measurement

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A network measurement is used in measurement technology to form an average . It is the determination of a measured variable in a fixed grid of measuring points .

background

With the help of a network measurement, an average value of the variable to be measured is to be determined. Measurement cross-sections are to be determined for each individual network measurement and then measuring points are to be defined in the respective measurement cross-section. The number of measuring points depends on the geometry and size of the measuring cross-section.

In emission monitoring network measurements to inhomgene distributions take into account the component to be measured in for sampling flow channel are applied. In the case of particulate air pollution, emission measurements must always be carried out as network measurements. The sampling was then isokinetic be made. The same applies to measuring cross-sections that are at least 0.1 m 2 .
