The New Apostolic Church was built between 1926 and 1928 according to a design by Albert Gericke and was consecrated on August 12, 1928. It is a modern building with expressionist echoes. The building consists of a three-storey central structure, which is flanked by two five-storey tower projections . Before the Second World War, there was a three-axis entrance porch with a flat gable and rectangular lattice windows in front of the main building ; today the porch has a flat roof. The masonry facade of the building is plastered gray.

The main rectangular room of the church can accommodate around 1,000 people. It is equipped with an altar pedestal and three galleries . After the Second World War, the structure was slightly modified to remove war damage.
