The New Apostolic Church South Africa was an administrative district of the New Apostolic Church that looks after the members in the Cape Town area in South Africa , Namibia and St. Helena . The last church president until December 18, 2016 was District Apostle Noel E. Barnes, who was retired on the same date in Silvertown. On the same day, the South Africa District Church (Cape) was merged with Southeast Africa and the New Apostolic Church South Africa was founded.

District Church

In addition to the District Apostle, 11 apostles and 22 bishops looked after the faithful in this area. The district church was divided into the following regions:

  • Eastern Cape
  • Northern Cape
  • Western Cape
  • Namibia
  • St Helena Island
  • Falkland Island

Facilities

The South Africa District Church has had its own television program NAC TV since 2010 . The District Church has airtime on a community channel called Cape TV that is filled with Christian content, such as concerts by the church choirs, speeches by the District Apostle or documentaries.

A church magazine for Africa is also distributed: African Joy . This will be distributed in the four District Churches East Africa, Zambia, Southeast Africa and South Africa. The magazine appears in 17 different languages ​​and has a circulation of 655,000 copies.
