New Zurich Stock Exchange

The new stock exchange in Zurich was the headquarters of the Stock Exchange SIX Swiss Exchange until June 2017th

The building is located on the Sihl River in Zurich's City district . It was built by the architecture and planning office Suter + Suter from 1987 to 1991 and has been owned by BVK Personalvorsorge of the Canton of Zurich since 2000 . What is striking is the generous, portal-like entrance solution that opens the corner to the Sihl.

In addition to the SIX Swiss Exchange, the building also housed the offices of the Governor's Office, the District Council and the District Council Chancellery of the District of Zurich, as well as the Public Prosecutor's Office II of the Canton of Zurich and the Zurich Building Course Court.

At the end of June 2017, operations of the exchange were completely relocated to the “Hard Turm Park” in Zurich-West .

EF Education First takes over the building

After a long period of uncertainty about the future of the Neue Börse building, it became public in November 2015 that what it claims to be the world's largest education group, EF Education First , had completely taken over the building complex under leasehold.

According to press reports, the building is to be completely renovated and restructured after the stock exchange moves out, which will be followed by the company moving in from spring 2018. The new premises should offer space for 1000 employees.
