The New Synagogue in Bjelovar , a Croatian town in the Bjelovar-Bilogora County , was built from 1913 to 1917. It replaced the smaller Old Synagogue .

The synagogue in the Art Nouveau style was according to plans of the architectural firm Hönigsberg & German by the architect Otto Goldscheider built. On August 15, 1917, the Torah scrolls were ceremoniously transferred from the old to the new synagogue.

The synagogue, robbed and demolished during World War II , was converted into a theater in the 1950s. Since the renovations in the 2000s, the building has served as a cultural center .
