The Neue Zeit appeared from 1920 to 1933. It was published in Düren as a social democratic daily in the Aachen administrative region . It was archived at the city and district archive in Düren.

In 1920, the SPD city councilor Josef Radermacher (1882–1948) was responsible for the entire content of the newspaper . The Neue Zeit office was located in Düren, Eisenbahnstrasse 25. In 1931, the trained printer Josef Rademacher was editor-in-chief of the social democratic daily newspaper Neue Presse in Krefeld .

The newspaper was published by Radermacher & Co. GmbH, Verlag Neue Zeit, Düren, Kölnstr. 18a.
