The three-storey , three-axis , gable-facing plastered building is essentially medieval . Its current facade was designed in the 19th century.

The gabled house has cornices separating storeys and a central segment arch portal . The medieval core can still be seen on the gable on the courtyard side.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 598.
