The New Jewish Cemetery in Ústí nad Labem (German Aussig), a town in the north of Bohemia in the Czech Republic , was built from 1895 as part of the general municipal cemetery.

history

After the foundation of the "Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Aussig" in the 1860s, a Jewish cemetery was set up on site , which was used for around four decades. After that, the New Jewish Cemetery in Aussig was used to bury the dead of the Jewish community. The mourning hall, built around 1900, was demolished in the 1950s.

The Jewish cemetery in the municipal cemetery was closed in 1953 and the remaining tombstones ( Mazevot ) were sold. A factory was then built on the site.
