New Jewish Cemetery (Biłgoraj)

The New Jewish Cemetery in Biłgoraj , a Polish city in the Lublin Voivodeship , was established in the first half of the 19th century. The Jewish cemetery on Marii Konopnickiej Street has been a protected cultural monument since 1990.
The cemetery was devastated by the German occupiers during World War II .
On the originally 2.24 hectare cemetery, of which a substantial part was removed for construction purposes after the Second World War, only a few gravestones are left today.
