Neuerweg Bridge

The Neuerwegsbrücke in Hamburg - HafenCity spans the St. Annenfleet in the Speicherstadt .

The truss bridge with a length of 32 meters connects St. Annenplatz with the streets Pickhuben , Kannengießerort and St. Annenufer . It was built in 1886 in the course of the first construction phase of the Speicherstadt (1883–1888). Previously, the Neuerweg ran there, which was replaced by the bridge with the construction of the St. Annenfleet.

The half-timbered arches with riveted steel struts are, as is often the case with the Speicherstadt bridges, approximately circular arcs. The cobblestone pavement runs between the arches , the footpaths are on the outside.

The official Street Key Bridge is N223, in the list of monuments of Hamburg it has number 12486th Since 2015 she is part of the UNESCO - World Heritage "warehouse district and Kontorhausviertel with Chile House".
