The New Schützenhaus , also Kulturhaus or Kulti, is a monument in the town of Trebbin in the Teltow-Fläming district in the state of Brandenburg .

history

The New Schützenhaus was built in 1911 according to plans by the Prussian master builder Walter Kern . The building is designed in the style of homeland security architecture . At the time of construction it was still outside the city, in front of the Berliner Tor. Initially used as a rifle house, after the founding of the GDR it was converted into a culture house with a dance hall, a restaurant and a youth club. The building is currently used by the Kulti disco, among others .
