News from Rond Point was a biannual fashion show that was produced from 1955 to 1968. The show was moderated by Antonia Hilke .

Antonia Hilke was working as an illustrator for daily newspapers when she was asked by the NWDR department "TV test program" to do a test show on the subject of fashion . She would learn the necessary know-how on the job. After the test broadcast was positively received, Antonia Hilke reported annually in spring and autumn on the latest fashion developments, for which she traveled with a camera team to Paris to film there directly on the catwalks. Since television was considered a dubious medium in the post-war period, the journalist was initially ignored by the fashion houses, so she reenacted fashion shows in the studio with specially hired models. The resulting style of showing models in front of a white background without decorations has shaped fashion journalism to this day.

News from Rond Point was discontinued in 1968, the follow-up program Neues vom Kleidermarkt went on air with a similar concept and the same presenter in 1972 and ran until 1990.
