New York Express

The New York Express was a train that was commissioned by the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (CGT) to connect from Paris to their ships going to North America .

history

The New York Express operated from 1900 on behalf of the CGT, as required and in accordance with the schedule of the ships from the Paris train station Saint-Lazare to Le Havre to the local train station Le Havre-Maritime . The service was last driven by the Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF).

With the abandonment of transatlantic traffic by FRANCE (today: NORWAY) in 1974, the shuttle service of the New York Express was also discontinued.
