New Forest West is a constituency for the House of Commons in the county of Hampshire . The constituency was created in its current form in 1997 and covers much of Lymington and Fordingbridge . He sends a representative to parliament.

The constituency is since its creation by Desmond Swayne , a member of the Conservative Party , represented in Parliament.

In April 2013, the constituency had an unemployment rate of just 1.7%.
