The New Mexico State Route 136 ( NM 136 for short ) is a state route in the US state of New Mexico .
The State Route begins at the Mexican border and ends after 14 kilometers near El Paso on Texas State Highway 178 . The road initially runs north and heads east from Santa Teresa Airport. About a kilometer from the Texas border , NM 136 meets New Mexico State Route 273 .
