The Texas State Highway 178 (short SH 178 ) is a state highway in the US state of Texas , the north-south direction is in.
The State Route begins on New Mexico State Route 136 and ends about three miles near El Paso on Interstate 10 . After the junction with Texas State Highway 20 , the SH 178 crosses the Rio Grande .
