The New Mexico State Route 8 ( NM 8 for short ) is a state route in the US state of New Mexico that runs in a north-south direction.
The State Route begins on New Mexico State Route 176 west of Eunice and ends 15 miles west of Hobbs on US Highways 62 and 180 . In the village of Monument , New Mexico State Route 322 branches off in a westerly direction.
