The Newark Torc is a complete Iron Age neck ring found in 2005 on the outskirts of Newark-on-Trent . The torque is made of electron , an alloy of gold, silver and copper, weighs 700 grams and has a diameter of 20 cm. The body consists of rolled wires that have been braided into eight thin ropes and then twisted together. The ends are ring-shaped and have floral and dot patterns.

The Newark Torque is exhibited within the collection of the National Civil War Center in Newark-on-Trent.
