The NEXUS AG is a company of Donaueschingen . Nexus was founded in 1989 and is an international software manufacturer for hospital information systems and operator of IT infrastructure for hospitals. The global company had around 1,300 employees in 2018. NEXUS is admitted to the Prime Standard of the German stock exchange and included in the CDAX stock index . Nexus offers modular software in the areas of hospital information systems (HIS), radiology information systems ( RIS), image archives (PACS). NEXUS offers total house solutions for hospitals and psychiatric clinics. The NEXUS solutions also include special departmental solutions. The NEXUS / IT division specializes in the management of hospital IT.

In its 29/14 issue, the stock exchange magazine Börse-Online compiled a ranking of the 30 best growth companies in Germany. NEXUS AG took first place on this ranking list for 2014. The stock corporation is listed in the CDAX stock index .
