Ngawang Künga Thegchen Pelbar ( Tib . : ngag dbang kun dga 'theg chen dpal' bar ; * 1945 ) was the forty-first abbot of the Sakya Monastery and throne holder ( Sakya Thridzin ) of the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism from 1951 to 2017 . In the Sakya College in Rajpur , Himachal Pradesh , which he founded in India , the traditions of the Sakya monastery are continued.
