Ngedbus (also: Ngesebus ) is an island in the island state of Palau in the Pacific Ocean .

geography

The double island extends north of Peleliu island in a crescent shape and opens to the north over the reef . It is only separated from Peleliu by a canal about 500 m wide. In the west of the island, at the top of the reef, is the Shipwreck Point dive site . The western half of the island curves from the northwest to the east. At its western end, a small headland extends north. There is also the very shallow canal that separates it from the eastern half (also: Murphy Island ). The eastern half of the island is much smaller, the place Olngeuaol is shown, otherwise the island is densely forested and uninhabited.

To the southeast of the eastern half are the islands of Ngkeuall and Belualasmau . The channel between Ngedbus and Peleliu is protected as a spawning area.
