Ngor ( French Île de Ngor ) is a small island off the coast of Senegal . The island lies in front of Cabo Verde and belongs to the Arrondissement of Ngor in the capital region of Dakar . Ngor is about 500 m from the beach of the coastal and fishing town of the same name, Ngor.
The island of volcanic origin is a popular vacation spot for divers, sport fishermen and surfers.
