The Niépce Glacier is a glacier on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . Together with the Daguerre Glacier , it flows into the Lauzanne Cove , a side bay of the Bay of Flanders .
The glacier was first shown on an Argentine map from 1954. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the French photography pioneer Joseph Nicéphore Niépce (1765–1833), the inventor of heliography .
