The Daguerre Glacier is a glacier on the Danco Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It merges into the Niépce Glacier before it flows into Lauzanne Cove in the Bay of Flanders .
The glacier was first shown on an Argentine map from 1954. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1960 after the French photography pioneer Louis Daguerre (1787-1851), inventor of the daguerreotype named after him .
