Niθ

Niθ [ niɕiː ] (* 20th century) is a Japanese illustrator.

The correct spelling of his name is Niθ̂ with a circumflex above the θ , which, however, cannot be adequately reproduced in browsers. The onomatopoeic spelling Nishī ( に し ー ) is also used in running texts .

Career

Niθ, then still under the name Nin Niθ ( 仁Niθ ) professional career began as an employee of the eroge -Spieleentwicklers Nitro Plus . For his first major assignment, he was loaned to computer game developer âge in 2003 for his game Muv-Luv , for which Niθ designed some of the mechas . In the same year he became the chief graphic designer for the Nitroplus game Zanma Taisei Demonbane , for which he also produced the illustrations for the accompanying six-part novel series. This was followed by Jingai Makyō in 2005 and Kishin Hishō Demonbane in 2006 . For Zoku Satsuriku no Django - Jigoku no Shōkinkubi from 2007 he created the graphics for the scenario of Gen Urobuchi . In 2015 he worked again with Nitroplus for their browser and mobile phone game Tōken Ranbu , where he created the character design for the figure of Onimaru Kunitsuna.

In 2007, he designed the protagonist Alice for Hobby Japan's playbook series Queen's Gate .

In 2007/8 Nitroplus and the animation studio Gonzo cooperated in the development of the anime Blassreiter , with Niθ responsible for the original character design and mechanic design , which was then adapted for the animation by Naoyuki Onda and Makoto Ishiwata.

Then he left Nitroplus and became a freelancer. Since 2009 he has been the illustrator of the still (as of 2013) running light novel series Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls by Akira Suzuki . In 2012 he was one of the designers of the anime Busō Shinki and in 2013 Mechanic Designer of Galilei Donna . For the Tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Gaim, for which Urobuchi also wrote the scripts, he designed some of the monsters.
