Nico Thomas
Nico Thomas (* 10. June 1966 in Ambon , Indonesia ) is a former Indonesian boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1986 he started his professional career successfully. On June 17, 1989 he boxed against Samuth Sithnaruepol for the IBF world championship and won on points. He lost this belt to Eric Chavez in his first title defense in September of the same year .
In 2006 he ended his career.
