Nico von Lerchenfeld (born December 28, 1992 ) is a German wakeboarder .

Athletic career

He has been a wakeboarder since he was six. At that time his family ran a wakeboard facility in the Allgäu. He is a professional wakeboarder and because of his achievements in the international team of Liquid Force and O'Neill . In 2009, he became the first German rider to develop his own wakeboard. He is one of the most successful wakeboarders in the world and supports young athletes in this area. He is supported by the Deutsche Sporthilfe .

Lerchenfeld took part in the program Ninja Warrior Germany in 2017 .

Since 2019 he has been studying sports management and sports communication at the Sport University Cologne .
