Nicolás Olivera , full name Luis Nicolás Olivera Moreira , (born February 17, 1993 in Melo or Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.93 meter tall defensive player Olivera played in youth football in 2008 in the Sexta División for Nacional Montevideo . He then went through the various youth teams via the U-16s (2009), the Quinta División (2010) and the Cuarta División (2011 to 2012). From 2011, however, he was also a member of the reserve in the Tercera División, for which he played until mid-2014. In July 2014, he moved on loan to first division promoted Rampla Juniors . In the Apertura 2014, however, he did not come to the Montevideans in the first division. At the beginning of 2015 he returned to the Reserve Nacionals and played there until his next move in July 2015. At this point, he was also signed on loan from the club Villa Teresa, which had risen from the Segunda División . He made his debut in the Primera División on November 21, 2015 in the 0-1 away defeat in the game against Club Atlético Rentistas , when he was appointed to the starting line-up by coach Vito Beato . In the 2015/16 season he played ten games (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. His club was relegated at the end of the season. In mid-August 2016, he moved to Estudiantes de San Luis . So far (as of July 16, 2017) he has played 16 times (one goal) in the league with the Argentines.
