Nicola Grigolo (born November 8, 1967 in Padua ) is a former Italian beach volleyball player .

Career

Grigolo began his international career in the early 1990s, playing with Riccardo Marchiori and Marco Solustri, among others. In 1996 he took part in the Olympic tournament in Atlanta with his new partner Andrea Ghiurghi . There the two Italians lost to the later gold medal winners Kiraly / Steffes (USA) and the Norwegians Kvalheim / Maaseide and finished in 13th place.

In 1997 he formed a duo with Andrea Raffaelli . At the World Championships in Los Angeles , he did not get past 33rd place. The next year he played with Davide Sanguanins , with the best result at the Open tournaments being 17th.
